On January 11, World Meteorological Centre (WMC-BJ) and National Center of Meteorology of Saudi Arabia (NCM) Technical Meeting was held online and offline. Participants exchanged views on topics like sand and dust storm forecasting, disastrous weather monitoring and forecasting, weather modification technology and so on.

Experts from China and Saudi Arabia delivered reports on topics like Middle East Green Initiatives, Scientific & Operational Progress in RSMC-ASDF, sand and dust storm forecasting, severe weather monitoring and forecasting, artificial enhancement operation and others.

This meeting has established a platform for mutual exchange and learning, and promoted bilateral consultation on future meteorological technological cooperation.
